Quinzee in my backyard with my niece and nephews! They slept in the quinzee all night and even slept in! It was -22 outside when they went to bed. I am impressed---it was quietest night I have had since they came to visit from California. I will encourage them to sleep outside again tonight! He (Fletcher) said there is a huge range of disabling conditions and argued no one, including disability rights groups, can decide for someone else what is tolerable.
“Everyone is a minority of one,” Fletcher said in an interview.
“From that perspective, everyone should have all the rights and responsibilities … as everyone else. And when you look at it from that perspective, all those other arguments don’t make any sense anymore because we’re going to be protecting the rights of everyone, period.”

"We will remember them" Today I am thinking of my

"We will remember them" Today I am thinking of my Grandfather who went into Singapore to defend when many were evacuating to save themselves from the Japanese army in early 1942. He was a Captain for the Signals Battalion for the Malay Volunteer Force only to be captured and spend the next 3.5 years as a POW/ slave laborer, starved, and tortured. His life was saved several times by members of ANZAC- also POW's. Most families of that time will have members who have experienced terrible things beyond our comprehension. My Dad and Grandma waited the whole time wondering if he was alive. Amazingly Granddad survived when too many did not. There are many stories of sadness and heroism that still haunt my family. Remembering those who sacrificed so much so we can be free must always be thought of so future generations need not experience war but share freedom and happiness. One can hope for better days even if today is tough.
